How to exploit the downturn PDF Print E-mail

MACS  offers its client base an opportunity that can save between 3% and 10% of their maintenance technician operating costs. After completing a web survey, available at the MACS websites, MACS will send their clients a cost benefits analysis within 24 hrs which demonstrates how the savings will be produced.

Clients also get a chance to visit an ‘Improve Your Resource Management’ event, get a personalised consultation and MACS will reimburse their incurred costs. Guus de Nijs, Managing Director said:’ Every newspaper I open in the morning contains negative stories that all affect us in one way or other and  we forget to think about the opportunities we have to continue to improve and grow. At MACS we work positively to produce ways for our clients to increase their asset utilisation and resource efficiency to deliver real cash savings on their maintenance activities. Now is the time to review and improve business processes and take the chance to reduce costs.’

MACS at Pulse: Tuesday 10 February 2009 PDF Print E-mail

Pulse is the premier service management event organised by IBM once a year.  During this event users, IBM employees, clients and business partner get a chance to meet each together. It is also an opportunity to discuss and learn more about the insights of all Tivoli Software products. This year it takes place in Las Vegas and MACS has sent a team to review all things new and interesting. The coming days you will find an account of their experiences in Las Vegas.

MACS at Pulse: Tuesday 10 February 2009

Tuesday also started with a general session, opened by Al Zollar. First speaker was Tom Hawk, explaining the value of Industry Solutions and frameworks IBM has to offer. He reiterated the current economic situation and transformations companies are facing, just as IBM was. IBM however started their own transformation some time ago, by assuring identical processes were used globally and a reduction in datacenters was achieved over time.
