Most Maximo User were already familiar with the existence of Maximo Everyplace. At the end of October IBM launched Maximo Everplace to the wider public. Please read below why Maximo Everyplace can be useful and how it can enhance the Maximo experience.

IBM Maximo Everplace

Maximo Everplace makes IBM Maximo Asset Management accessible on the Iphone, Ipad, and Android mobiles. Maximo users that are more often working in the field than behind their desk, have now continous access to IBM Maximo. A real benefit for the facility manager and field engineer. 

The benefits:

• Shorten the lag time between an event’s occurrence and the recording of that event in the system. There’s no need to wait until you get back to your desk to enter or retrieve data.
• Increase accuracy of data in the system by allowing users to enter information while it’s fresh in their minds.Offer convenient, targeted access to Maximo for workers who don’t regularly sit at a desk or use a desktop computer.
