IBM Maximo is a superb tool for implementing complex Planned Preventive Maintenance regimes through its PM and Job Plan applications. It is, however, a common requirement to be able to look ahead and forecast what  PM work is due for the next week, month or year.

MACS PM Forecast gives you that look ahead.The MACS PM Forecast plug-in looks through the database and records when PMs are due and which Job Plans they will use.  Customised eSpreadsheet reports  (eSpreadsheet is supplied with Maximo) allow the scheduler to see the dates when those PMs occur. 

It’s possible to see the whole labour commitment to the PPM regime quickly and easily, and to spot times when the demand peaks or exceeds labour availability so that rescheduling can be applied to balance the workload. The total hours and costs of each job occurence can be displayed . Longer term views can be examined showing the PM commitments throughout the coming year.
